Farewell Old Friends, We Shall Miss Thee; Welcome New Friends, We Shall Enjoy Thee

Hello friends,  I'm sad to say that I will no longer be crafting our Namaste Candles for sale on our website or at market. Insurance costs for that type of product are becoming more than we (as a small single person run company) can afford and I would like to shift more of my focus and energy over to the farm, Namaste Body & Namaste Healing products. There are some exciting changes happening in regards to product, with upgrades and new ones being imagined and formulated currently. I'm expanding the gardens even more, concentrating on growing more of our own herbals, as well as new varieties of fruits and veggies too.  While I am sad to see the candles go,...

Spring Fever 2016

Happy Equinox! Ah, the first day of Spring. For me it was a day full of pouring rain, spots of sun and the occasional rainbow. It was wet, but beautiful, a day of introspection and looking to the future. We had an eventful winter season, with many storms and changes.  It was with disappointment we learned that Namaste Girl was longer welcome to vend at the Intel Cafe's because of a takeover by another management company. I enjoyed our time there so much and will miss the wonderful people I met, and miss being able to hang out at each of the cafes twice a week. Thankfully, with much gratitude to Namaste Girl's Mom (who is willing to deliver our products to...

End of a Season & New Beginnings

Last Saturday marked the end of the Estacada Farmers Market's 2015 Season. While it will be nice to have Saturdays as my own again, I will miss seeing my local regular customers and market friends every week. The 2015 season marked a new home and location for the farmers market at Wade Creek House. It was a scary change, but a much needed one to revitalize and help us grow as a market. It was/is wonderful to feel welcome and supported at our market home. For that we owe thanks to Bill & Becky McFarland for going above and beyond to make for an easy transition and to offer help and support whenever it was needed. Can't wait to see...

A New Beginning

2015 seems to be the year of new beginnings for me personally and for Namaste Girl, Inc. as a whole. Here we begin a new web store journey, moving from our OLD store on Etsy to our OWN store on our website. We've been working hard behind the scenes getting it ready to go and hopefully making it a lot more user friendly than our former site.  We have been selling our products for the last four years at our local Estacada Farmers Market on 3rd & Broadway in downtown Estacada. This year, the market has moved locations to Wade Creek House Antiques at 664 NW Wade Street, across from the library and skate park (still in Estacada). We are...
